How were your days of Jan? I loved every single bit of it!

One day to another, I wish at times that I needed not drive to work. Taking the public transport would be my alternative. Coz I’m beginning to feel so tired of driving in our beautiful traffic roads.

Happy 2012!

My new year's resolution will be to keep myself in spanking good health! As for my career, it's been great last year, I will do my best to excel in all I do! :)

I've successfully cut out fast food for about almost 5 months? Which is not that difficult after all :) Come to think of it. I don't crave for fast food any more :P

Therefore my next step will be going vegetarian. It may be a huge impact to my daily eating habits. But I feel it's a way of detoxing for my body. It's better than taking supplements and medication for a change.As i've developed quite severe eczema, which i'm determined to overcome. One step at a time :)

To recap my 2011 resolutions, I must say I did accomplished way more than expected :) So happy about it! And yes, I will always stay positive no matter what comes my way :)

Is it so weird to have 3 nightmares for 3 consecutive days in a row.

I'll just share the recent one :/
The other night I dreamt, that i took a public bus. Then I noticed passengers on board were all busy with their phone and then I decided to take mine out as well. Only to realise that it's missing! And it was already time for me to get off at my stop. Frantically I looked around to see any familiar faces I met on the bus earlier. Panicking away, and not being able to recognize anyone. I then borrowed someone's phone to call my own number. And at that very moment it struck me...oh shit! i better start to look for it before someone silents my phone!!

Then I ended up driving a car looking around the nearby shop lots..LOL..dreams can be so weird and real when they want to be. I then drove around the shop lots looking out for any weird behaving people. Gengg jengg genggg..a foreign lady kept walking to and fro at the entrance of an old coffee shop, she kept looking at her hand. Like she was hiding something, and maybe..maybe she was trying to silent the phone but she did not know how.maybe coz the smart phone has smarter functions :P Just as she wanted to pass my phone to some dude, I quickly burst out of the car and grabbed it before the dude manage to get a hold of it. Despite knowing it's just a dream, i still remembered that my phone had keylock! hahaa..the lady couldnt get the code right and luckily did not manage to see or steal any of my personal data! *pheew*

Seriously, ever since form 5, I've been paranoid about losing my phone. Why? Well let me share with you guys what happened during my SPM examination. All our school bags had to be kept outside while the exams were ongoing inside the hall. Some pranksters decided to make a plot to steal my mobile phone. Not once but twice two days in a row. Why was I ever so "lucky". I never complained or make a fuss...maybe that's why it happened 'again'. I eventually found out that the culprits were my secondary "friends" coz, they observed and knew where i kept my personal belongings.

This coming New Year's Day will be the first time we'll be emcees! We will be hosting Spaceman's sisters wedding! Wow! Hehee, never in my life I would expect to see myself being an emcee for a wedding. And to be hosting it with my bf, heheee...i'm lagi more nervousssssssssssssss! Wish us luck! We need to practice and practice. Be in cue with each others toast, making sure we can fill out each others loss of words when nervous :P The last time i ever did a presentation was a year ago, in front of my ex company principles and licensees partners. Ladidaadaa, this upcoming toast will be really special as it's for people that are close to my heart :) A wedding is a once in a lifetime moment to be dearly cherished :)

I really didnt notice that i lost weight, coz only when i go for my yearly check up it monitors my weight and blood pressure that i found out i dropped from 52 - 48kg. My clothes are not dropping of my frame. All i did was cut down on alcohol, deep fried food and fast food...started eating lots of greens and fruits.

Saturday, 15th October: The MHB lovely girls and I had the privilege to be spoilt with literally hundreds & hundreds of sunglasses and spectacles! We got to try out countless beautiful specs & sunnies! Malaya Optical, thanks for having us!

Being on the road every day, it is a must for me to have a pair of sunnies in hand. This helps prevent me from squinting and being uncomfortable while driving under sunny skies. I love my current classic Rayban wayfarers, they never fail my tiny peeps :)

I think lack of sleep will make a person demotivated, forgetful and weaker. How I wish I could sleep like I did back in my college days. Where classes were flexible and I did not have to drive every morning. Every class ended way before peak hour jam, hence the precious free time.

The Hitz.fm morning crew JJ and Ean are bleeping hilarious!! as always..:p Listening to them every morning is the best daily dose of laughter :) They brighten up my gloomy morning jam-ming sessions to work. Everything on air from Gotcha calls to gossiping with Faya Hokulani, spinning the best tunes and discussing interesting topics that relate much to the current society issues. It's simply their humorous personality and infectious laughter that makes me enjoy their air show very much :)

As we grew, most of our needs we will ask from mum as dad is busy working. From pocket money, to enjoying yummy treats and picking us up from school..you name it, my mum will make sure she has enough provided for us. She will always make make us happy and not feel left out or alone. That is what I love about my mum, she has always talked to us about basically anything, making us comfortable in our own skin. She would have us kiss good night and say sweet dreams to each other before bedtime. It has become our daily routine, so whenever we don't do it, it's like the night isn't complete :P I still kiss my mum and siblings before leaving or going to bed :) It makes us closer as we bond together in our homey way.

There isn't any short cut for her to take care of us. Handling three kids isn't an easy task, neither is being parents a one day job. Your kids are your life, commitment from day one you are tested positive with an extra heartbeat.

I remembered my mum helping me with my school project and I got excellent credits from my teacher. Beaming with a proud and happy smile, my mummy is one person whom will do her best for her kids no matter what. She was and will always be proud of us and we are so proud of u mummy :) Always caring and sharing her thoughtful words and affection. She's nursed my broken heart, emotional turmoil times, shared wicked moments and we are definitely closer than ever. She's my everything & I love every moment of it.

I love her for everything she's sacrificed for us 3. I can never imagine waking up and not knowing that I did not give my best to her. Mummy, if you are reading this lil post. Always know I will do my best for you with every living breath i have :) *mwaaaaakz*

I definitely am a sucker for chick flicks ;) this summer proves that no two people can just have sex and not grow emotionally attached to one another ;p Point proven, now even in make believe Hollywood it is cofirmed impossible ;) I love how good actors like Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher made me believe that there is romance no matter how unromantic some people are in "no strings attached" ;p -and as well as how Mila kunis and Justin timberlake had their lives intertwined with similarities and found true love from being best friends in one of the fastest paced city in the world of "friends with benefits"

Whenever i watch videos or surf the net, she'll definitely be sitting by my side. licking my toes, legs and anywhere she can get to sniff..teehee..she loves jumping and using her two front paws to touch and play :) At times, when i have her on my lap she will lean over my arm or jus laze on my thighs comfortably. The little things in life makes me happy.

Below is a video i recorded recently at the OUG pasar malam ( operates every thursday of the week) The owner / chef makes awesome crepes! we were walking around and decided to give this crepe stall a try and we loved it :) I was amazed at how fast he could slice the bananas! hahaha..and they were sliced so evenly thin!! anyways, here is a short clip to show you how fast he did it and viola the perfect crepe delight :)

Been a whirlwind busy week! So glad its now saturday morning :) off to the doctor tomorrow, been getting rashes very frequently. Think i'll go for an allergy blood test to determine what i can eat and what to avoid. It's costly visiting the skin specialist so frequently!Thank goodness we can submit our claims during the income tax annual declaration. Eventhough it's a year worth of wait, it's better than not being able to claim or rebate at all :P

I love my weekends :)

btw: pasar malam has such good steals!! arrgh..hehehe it's almost a weekly routine which is very addictive :p those yummy banana chocolate crepes, 3 packs of tidbits for 5bucks, sugar cane! hehehee aahh..okie..it's sinful, delightful and tad unhealthy :P Got to eat right!

Good afternoon peeps ;)

Great way to kick start this Raya holidays!

Our dear friend Rachel invited us for the official opening of Da Nail Bar at no.12 Jalan Telawi 4, Bangsar.

Located at an impossible spot to miss :P De Nail Bar literally right next to Devi's Corner! :P Twinkle toes your way up the stairs and it will lead you to it's door step :)

We were greeted with pretty pink and white helium balloons!! Heart heliums! ( voice will sound like a chipmunk after a few "leak") :p

that's what all girls are made of =)

Alongside De Nail Bar stands a petite dessert cafe and a mini gadget accessories corner which is ideal for all the awesome bfs & hubbies to have a cuppa latte with the company of telly and magazines while waiting for their other half to finish their sparkly twinkly pampering session :P

I definitely think that couples who play together, live together, spend time together will live happier than ever :)

Being away from home for almost a week was awesome yet still i missed home sickeningly. For all I know, there's no place like home..chants "there's no place like home" & taps feet x3 times in ruby red mary jane pumps =)

Visited the famous "I'll 110% suck you till your purse turns crisp dry mall" in the awesome city famous for its vibrantly pink colored cabs..They even pimped up the interior with Burberry prints and hot fushia patent leather yo! Hehee..riding tuk tuks were fun too :P Bargaining for a better deals and getting the thrill and excitement of screeching breaks and blaring honks while zipping through opposite lane traffic dangerously..=.="" Cabs, tuk tuks and buses all attempted these acts without fear...no joke :P

This time around, when in Thailand, we did what Thais would do. Walked the streets of bangkok, ate and drank where locals did, took their sky train and even ride their local mini buses. (note: the bus driver steered us like a video game) I don't know if i were terrified or simply thrilled coz I kept giggling and went "whoaaa" lol..

Managed to buy stuff that would cost no more than 20bucks per piece :D Leggings for 9.50/pc wahahaa..i could only pinch myself each time I asked for the price..:p I enjoyed and learnt the art of bargaining this time around! It was challenging..i can proudly say that this trip i got what i needed..hopefully still is after a year or two ^^

I fell inlove with Sirocco! It was ultimately love at first sight..haha such a romantic place!! Simply breathtaking!! Lots of fantasy and dreams came to my mind when i took my first step on it's grand staircase and admired the awesome breathtaking sight :)

Such a sight to see, and it's all for me..Katy your songs are awesome =)

I stumbled upon an email that read how a mother koala was involved in an accident and the driver brought her to the local vet only to find out that she was carrying twins! It's rare for koala to bear twins. Sadly, the mum did not survive to see her beautiful twins.

In your eyes, what is your definition of a good father figure?

This came across my mind, as i witnessed two very idiotic motorist..note: two male motorist which I coincidentally drove passed this morning on my way to work. Both were carrying two very young innocent children seated in front and the back of him. And both fucking selfish drivers, wore their own helmet and took no initiative to get any protection for his kids. I felt so angry!! How on mother earth would any parent or adult just let their children go on a bike without a Helmet or let alone without any protective gear on! It's not a small little village here in KL/PJ. Imagine coming head on with a bus or car! Gosh!! The kids were so tiny!! they could barely even cross the road without adult supervision!

Speaking about road blocks and "saman", why not fine these drivers as well? Rather than just pick on fancy/ ah Beng modified cars and expired road taxes. Come on, if a person can talk without using hands-free get away with just a fine, these motorist whom drive without safety precaution deserves a much heavier sentence. I think it should be an equivalent to a murder charge. It's just another "green light for death" to rise on toll. Everyone who lives in the city knows, our roads aren't one of the nicest to drive by. It's one of the highest causes of death on the analysis summary for fatalities causes in Malaysia.

Life is to cherish, not thrown away like a piece of trash.

Tom Dick & Harry's the bomb

I've always wanted to try their signature deep fried mars and porky fries..alas last night, it was the soft opening for Tom Dick & Harry's (TDH) at Scott's Garden..yes, it was an awesome night :)

Free flow fresh from the tap and awesome yummy porky meals that were served till our bellies were popping full. TDH seriously has some mean and sinful beer snacks..i could not refuse munching the entire..well almost the whole pint of chicken crackers (chicken skin deep fried till perfection)..so awesome!! ladidaaaa :p One more addiction was their porky fries ( luncheon meat cut into fat fries and deep fried) hahahaa..see what I mean by sinful. Beer snacks = deep fried and salty stuff :)

I can't wait to go back there again!!

Next week will be the official launch of TDH! Woohooo!! With their goodie bag gifts, I simply love my Mo Man Tai mug :) This coming monday, all I have to do is bring my mug and refill all I can drink :) Mo Man Tai ( means no problemo in canto - msian slang) TDH, you're fantastic and I shall see U this monday :)

There’s this old wives tale that I’ve heard plentiful times: Make sure you peel off apple skin before eating. As the skin contains tons of pesticide, chemicals and what nots to protect the fruit from being eaten by wriggly worms..

I actually enjoy eating the skin, coz it's crunchy and gives that ooomph when i bite :)

Hence, I decided to google search “is it safe to eat the apple skin?”

Out of all the reviews, it all came to a conclusion that it is Safe to eat the apple with its skin. All we need to do is to make sure you wash the apple thoroughly with water and it’s safe to eat! There goes one myth busted.

An apple a day does keeps the doctor away~

Probably super excited and just enjoying everything lil breath she takes outdoor :p Took her 3rd jab two weeks back and we've been walking her twice daily after her meals..hehehe potty training improving, progressing :P Puppy being a puppy has certainly thought me alot on parenting.

The longest eclipse ever occurred recently

I witnessed an eclipse during my school days. Remembered how we had to use the film negative to look at the sun & moon crossover! Everyone was so hyped up about it. Hehehe, I remembered being terrified of going blind :p When I was younger, I used to be scared of a lot of things. Well, till date I may have buck up some courage :p Am still trying not to be such a scardy cat but but it’s not easy overcoming fears. Like today, my knees were literally wobbling as I walked on one of the scariest/ highest balcony ever..well it wasn’t ghostly scary..just out of the norm :p

I love the google headers! Haha ok, I know I’ve said it before, but it never fails to amuse me at how cute they are! I’m google hooked..lol, even if I have nothing to search, I still go on to google everyday..yes..just to see their headers..=p

My cravings can really go insane. Need not mention the results it churns with my emotions. Fantastic combo.

I can go on the entire day/ week eating crackers and Milo without feeling the urge of eating rice or anything heavier or have a “decent meal”. I live to eat =)

Do you ever wake up disappointed? Wishing you never had that awful dream so that when you wake up, you never have to recap the disgustingly real nightmare. I dreamt about passing by a row of shoplots that were owned by someone but I don’t recall knowing. At the same time I was there just to check out the area. Stunned and terrified, seeing a group of drug addicts stoning away with so many dogs all lying on the floor. They were all stoning, you know how in your dreams it can be all really slow motion at times? Yea, basically the men and dogs were all sitting lying down and moving in really slow swaying motion. The entire scene was grayish, super low saturation (Thanks to my cam apps, I can adjust the contrast, saturation, brightness in 1 single touch :p) Back to my nightmare, the place was dark, cold and dirty. It was really disgusting and horrible. I always can touch, see and feel my dreams. Thankfully I can’t smell my dreams...I wonder is it only me or do you smell anything in your dreams?

On a brighter note, I love the morning sunlight, coz we get great pictures =)

It was fun getting up early, going for breakfast and taking some fun photos before heading to work. Dang, my Saturday is so productive =)

From July onwards, Friday is my favorite day!

Ever since 10th October 2010, this place has been serving this "must have drink" :)

I've heard so much news and rave of this booming hidden chill out place called The Hill. And finally, I've climbed up The Hill :) hehee I was surprised despite having those number of steps, most of the customers wore mighty HIGH heels..-.- Takes practice and skill to defy gravity :p

The Hill was larger than I imagined!!

I really liked the ambience, it was really peaceful..no loud music or hustle and bustle. Just fresh air, starlit skies and best of all they have dining tables at the right height! A plus point, as many chill out places have tables and chairs seated way to low or high for anyone to enjoy the food comfortably.

Mummy is the ultimate word to describe every perfect touch, emotion, the one who knows everything even when i don’t know what is going on in my life.

Giving the best of everything, doing what best for me, no matter the situation or how frustrating it can be to have me as a daughter. I know I can be a pain in your butt mummy, I know..hehehee *piak*

You did it well, you gave the best of everything and made me who I am as a person today. I can never, ever thank you enough. I know it well, I know how much you’ve sacrificed your daily routines just so that I can have what I need or want. Never once you made me your second option or 2^nd priority. I came first in your life despite the circumstances we’ve gone through. And now I just want to tell you, you too are the first and utmost important priority in life.

This little post may sound emotional, you know my feelings inside out.Lately there has been tons going through my dreamy mind. One of it was to make sure that I fulfill my duties as a responsible daughter. I looked back at my 27 years of life and thought about what have I ever did for you. None could compare to the sacrifices you’ve made for me. Nothing could beat your score chart. Does this make me a lesser and more useless person? Nope, you never once said or show me that my life is worthless. You made me see my life in a summery, vibrant and positive way everyday. No matter how down I can get sometimes, you picked me up gracefully and always got my back. You taught me to be independent, knowing that I can aim for the sky and give my best to get what I want. Coz all it takes is hard work, patience and an opened mind. You’ve build in us this mindset, which is to work hard, don’t be lazy and never give up on what we really want. To go for it. Now I can tell you, this has made me so strong in ways that cannot be seen.

Patience is one action that needs time to master.

How can I learn to be more patient?

The answer is always: Once you are a parent/ mum, you will know what patience is all about.

Maybe, maybe not, but for as long as I know you are here with me, I can have and learn to gain all the patience in the world.

Deep in thoughts I see this as the ultimate challenge. Wishing lady luck to stay by my side, but this ain’t no poker game. All actions have consequences; prolly that’s why the patient ones will outlast the rest. Being simple and jolly going is me, who I am as a person. Never knew it was so difficult to lie or simply keep a straight face when there are times I wished I could do it as well as some would.

Aah, I miss snuggles. She’s just the cutest manja-est intelligent lil puppy in my eyes :P From afar you’ll spot her three black dots consisting of her dark round eyes and lil nose, with off white curly semi dreadlock fur. I comb her up and she becomes a puffy fluffy pup :P hahaa I can’t get enough of her..<3

Whenever she get's pissy "mung jang", she would automatically lie down flat and stretch both her arms and legs straight out..hahahaa so cute right :D Automatically makes one smile :) Been teaching her to shake hand, she lifts her lil right paw and brings it up to my hand quickly. Not forgetting her bite, it’s teething time, this is the period where anything hard or chewy is drawn automatically to her mouth. Her little body has grown quite a lot since the first day we brought her home. Yet her climb and touch is still as gentle as a baby’s touch :)

Yes, I smell Friday :)

Weekends are my favorite. This weekend will be an extra day longer :) Isn’t a blessing that we are entitled an auto replacement off day whenever the public holiday falls on Sundays :) :)

Finally seen the music vid :) hehehe I love watching music videos no matter if it's english, chinese, korean, japanese or any given mother tongue language. Basically because I find it amazing that within those 3-5mins, every vital point of detail has to be filmed in a shot to impress :) Has to have that WOW factor that leaves a lasting impression to the viewers aka fans or fans to be :) It's like asking you to impress someone within that given time..damn hard right? Picking the right moves, words, expression and location..

First impression counts, no matter who you are. It leaves an impact on what you are and how you are to be remembered. Whether it's a good or bad, lasting or forgetful one..it still leaves that "oh..yes yes i remember you..for some what not reasons" or "nehh..she is who's who..and they had a history...etc.."

Here's a popular saying: Don't judge a book by it's cover. Basically it takes time to know a person and see their true colors. End of the day, it's not the quantity that matters. It's the quality that makes me happy and know whom I can trust no matter what.

Wow, it suddenly became an emo post after how I carried on blogging bout how to impress music lovers with that short music clip..lol..*pops the chill pill* Period..

Let's talk abit about my new career path.
I'm coordinating and dealing with valves everyday now :) It's a big, huge step for me to venture into the flow control industry. It's a total 360° change to those of you know what I was working as previously :P I learn something new everyday and have the experts to guide and train me :) Never say never *bieleber* :) It's been about 2 months plus and I feel that I'm becoming a superwoman..hehehee..with support and confidence, taking things a step at a time..I know that I can do it!

I know it's worth it, I just do.

The other day I tasted "pop-pop" on my tongue. We stuck out our tongues as we drove across the recently tarred road. Twas a funny feeling, how it fizzles and pops my taste buds. Rekindling all sweet senses :)

Never imagined that one day..yea one sunny day that I'd actually be starstruck over a young lad by the name of Justin Bieber!!

His debut movie "Justin Bieber: Never say NEVER" made me reminisce how I used to ritually read Dolly, Teen Bop magazines back in highschool..hahaa those Jonathan Taylor Thoms ( J.T.T) and Devon Sawa days! So Never say Never :P

Even American idol lowered their participation age limit when they realized how talented Bieber was :)

He sold out Madison Square Garden tix in 20mins!
The movie was and is amazing. I loved how MTV filmed the entire movie through the eyes of Justin B, his close knit family, entourage and most of all his loyal fans. How his fans grew with him since day1 and the little little things that makes one smile. All captured at that very right scene. Bieber started from scratch and became a YouTube sensation overnight..It showed how important online social networking is..made Scott Braun searched high and low for him and convinced his mom to fly down to Atlanta. The rest is history.Booomwhammpow, 1and a half years later he's a mega super star all around the world :) Hard work pays off..he is definitely one star with a mega bright future~ the 3d version made me feel like I was at his concert for real..and I even..erhmmm..sang along la :) Music knows no boundaries. It fascinates me how that one voice can melt the many zillion hearts out there :)

On 16th March: Stylekandi's (pronounced : Style-candy) exclusive media launched at Desire, Heritage row. This row once ruled my twinkly blinky nights :P Just a blink of an eye, the places where I used to parked are now obsolete..all the empty spaces left in this precious land have been hoarded up. Yup, heritage row has begun it's transition into mighty sky high scraping buildings..to be on par with the rest of its competitive golden triangle neighborhood. Something about old building, I simply love love love and adore the old architectures. Gives that nostalgic "I feel good" vibe ;)

Stretch, breathe in..breathe out..focus baby, focus.

Last weekend I had my first time doing Yoga, and it was awesome :)

The calmness and simplicity of yoga allows me to de-stress. The only thing I would stress about would be within those 8 hours mon - fri. Nothing more nothing less.

I was invited with a few other ladies to attend a yoga session at My Yoga Sanctuary. Classes started punctually, so not Malaysian timing..which was awesome :) We were all positioned to begin the art of quieting the mind for 60 beautiful minutes.

I was a total noob in following the given instructions >.< href="http://www.facebook.com/MyYogaSanctuary?v=info">Azmi Samdjaga, our yoga instructor, assisted a goody wholesome lots in ensuring that we were all in the correct positions and making sure that we did not injure ourselves. Focusing only on one thing at a time is so difficult!! I kept thinking of how I should be posing instead of letting my mind go..breathe, focus and breathe..twas the most simplest yet difficult thing to do. But hey, practice makes perfect, eventually with patience, practice and perseverance it'll all be a piece of cake:)

With the table top calendar sitting up straight next to my work monitor, I tend to take quick glances at the dates and read the monthly quotes printed on every left page corner. Occasionally flipping through the months to check out what's the next quote :p
